Delirium Red is a strong fruit ale brewed by the Belgian brewery Huyghe Brouwerij in the town of Melle in East Flanders. The name of this ale translates as "red hot". It is a burgundy red beer with a small cap of persistent pinkish foam. It is created with cherry juice and a small portion of elderberry juice. The aroma of Delirium Red is a "soft riot" of fruit, dominated by cherries: both sweet and ripe and sour. Nutty tones go well with the fruit, especially almonds.

The taste of this ale is sweet and fruity, with a harmonious combination of sweetness and acidity. It is neither "compote" nor "fruit water", but a real fruit beer - strong, powerful, willful, with an expressive and long aftertaste. Nevertheless, despite its considerable strength (8.5%), Delirium Red is completely devoid of alcohol: alcohol is felt in it only when this ale begins to warm you up from the inside.

Taste Features:

The taste of the beer is sweet-tart, fruity, with a nice balance between sweetness and acidity, notes of cherries and cranberries.

Gastronomic combinations:

An excellent dessert beer, consumed as a digestif, with desserts, fruit.
