Stout/Porter Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout

<p>A dense aromatic ale from Japan, created in the style of imperial stouts. It has a deep black color with a luxurious light brown foam reminiscent of the cream of freshly brewed coffee. The recipe is based on intensely roasted espresso coffee beans. The hop composition of Chinook and Kent Golding varieties (36 IBU) adds a noble bitterness. Produced by the legendary Kiuchi Company, founded in 1823 by Kiuchi Nihei in the city of Naka, Kiuchi started with sake production and today the brand owns a whole line of alcoholic beverages: from the iconic Kikusakari sake to author's beers, shochu, wines and liqueurs.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Flavor Features</strong></p> <p>Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout has a rich, balanced flavor dominated by rich coffee notes of premium roasted beans. Hints of vanilla, chocolate and dark fruits are also felt.
