John Martin

The flagship product of the Belgian brewery John Martin, founded in 1909. This Belgian IPA, brewed in the Indian pale ale technique, is prepared using a special dry hop technology. During the production process, a significant amount (100 kilograms per 1000 liters) of dry hop cones is added to the already fermented wort. The beer circulates for a week in contact with the hops, after which it is filtered. After bottling, the foam is aged in bottles for three years. The exquisite balance and unique character of Martin's IPA has been repeatedly recognized by international experts. The beer won the highest award at the Superior Taste Award in 2014.

Flavor characteristics

The flavor is dominated by a pleasant bitterness, balanced by a slight sweetness of malt; notes of hops, herbs, white flowers, plum, peach, apricot are also felt. The same nuances dominate the rich, layered aroma. The aftertaste is long and leaves a pleasant feeling of freshness and purity.

Gastronomic combinations

Martin's IPA goes well with spicy dishes, such as Mexican cuisine with its spicy sauces and grilled meat. It can also be served with Asian, Indian, Mediterranean cuisine, fish and seafood, various cheeses.
