Because of the slightly lower hop content and higher carbonation, the ale would be the perfect summer drink to pair with any appetizer and almost any dish.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />In 2019, Hel's Schnitzlbaumer Weisse ale won a silver medal at the World Beer Awards in the "Beer from Germany" category. Schnitzlbaumer is a private German brewery that has been around for 440 years, is the oldest brewery in Traunstein and the youngest private brewery.</p>
