A traditional Belgian cherry Kriek, a favorite around the world. It is made of light wheat beer with barley malt, hops, unfermented wheat grains and 25 percent fresh natural black cherry juice. Only berries of Oblacinska variety grown in the vicinity of Brussels are used to create the drink. Like other lambics, St. Louis Premium Kriek is produced by spontaneous fermentation and then the drink is aged in oak barrels for six months.

Flavor characteristics

The beer has a soft, creamy taste dominated by tones of ripe cherries and almonds. In the aftertaste there is a slight sourness.

Gastronomic combinations

This beer may be served as a separate beverage. It also goes well with seafood and cheeses of different varieties.
