Gastronomic dinner accompanied by Trappist beer

event illustration

On Wednesday October 14 we will hold the first gastronomic dinner after a forced pause in Lambic at Strannoy Boulevard 7с1! Two chefs Denis Kuznetsov and Evgeny Goncharov came up with a set of 6 servings, and our chef bartender Diana Dvoretskaya matched them with the perfect combinations from our beer atlas. All varieties at first glance are very different, but are united by a common origin from Trappist monasteries around the world. Trappist beer — a type of Belgian ale originally brewed in the breweries housed in the monasteries of the Catholic Trappist Order. During during the dinner, we will tell guests about the history of Trappist brewing, where it originated, peculiarities in brewing technologies and other interesting facts.

Dinner Menu:

  • Oyster with beer foam, raspberries and soaked apple accompanied by Mont des Cats, a Belgian strong pale ale whose abbey is located a few kilometers from the border with Belgium in northern France .
  • Dorado Carpaccio with lime gel & herb accompanied by Spencer IPA, the first IPA in world history brewed by a Trappist brewery! The aromatic IPA was hopped with German Perle, Apollo and Cascade hops.
  • Lamb in the ashes with smoked potatoes  accompanied by Tynt Meadow, an English dark ale with notes of chocolate and dates, brewed in British Trappist Abbey Mount St Bernard.
  • Salmon with lemongrass on a pillow of root vegetables with caviar sauce accompanied by Westmalle Trappist Tripel, first brewed in Westmalle Monastery in 1934 and its recipe remains unchanged already over 50 years — was last modified in 1956.
  • Chocolate millefeuille with hazelnut cream and berries accompanied Trappistes Rochefort 8, the legendary Trappist ale, awarded the highest score of 100 points out of 100 possible by the famous beer resource Beeradvocate. Twice, in 2004 and 2006 , beer won gold medals at "World Beer Championships".
  • Smoked plum with coffee, accompanied by Zundert 10, a Trappist quadrupel, the only beer produced by Maria Toevlucht. The beer is prepared according to old recipes, has a pleasant taste, in which malt notes are complemented by nuances of caramel, chocolate and banana.

Gathering of guests at 19.30, the cost of participation is 2900 rubles per person, free seating.

15 Year Old Lambic
15 Year Old Lambic

Dear Guests! This summer, we’re celebrating Lambic’s 15th anniversary. That’s exactly how many restaurants we now have in Moscow, all located in a wide variety of convenient and comfortable spots for you! To mark our anniversary, we’ve created more than 15 new dishes, inspired by the warmth and trust you show us when you visit with your families, host business meetings, or simply seek a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of beer or wine. These aren’t just new additions—they’re our culinary declarations of love! On our anniversary menu, you’ll find a wide variety of new appetizers: Spanish empanadas, spicy eggplant in Thai sauce, juicy brisket tacos, Portuguese croquettes, and delicate cod rillettes. We now serve mussels in a new tomato sauce, and Belgian waffles with pork crackling and oyster mushrooms. For main courses, we recommend Mediterranean-style salmon, chicken thighs with baby corn, lightly smoked sea bass or dorado, and—as the perfect accompaniment to beer—mini burgers or strip loin with french fries! We look forward to seeing you try the anniversary menu at Lambic! Thank you for being with us! From the Lambic team
