Du Bocq

White wheat beer of the highest quality. It has a light color, when cooled - milky foggy, when warm - clear and transparent. This beer surprises with its roundness and delicacy, gentle acidity and almost no bitterness. Its aroma is subtle, with tangy notes of coriander and Curacao orange. "Blanche de Namur" is the Du Bocq brewery's know-how and won the title of best Wietbier beer in 2009, 2013 and 2014 according to the WBA.

The beer was named after Blanche, daughter of Count Jean de Namur. According to legend, King Magnus IV Eriksson saw her while traveling in France. The king had long sought a worthy contender for the title of queen. He was so dazzled by Blanche's beauty that he did not hesitate to propose to her. In 1335 the princess sailed to Norway, where she became queen. It was in her honor that the Du Bock brewery named its most famous beer.
