<p>A refreshing light Belgian lager with a clean malt flavor and soft hop.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br />The history of the Belgian family brewery Brouwerej Roman began in 1545 with a man named Joos Roman. He owned an inn called "De Clocke" in Audernard. This avant-garde hotel was located on the Franco-German trade route. Roman owned an inn, a farm, a mill, a malt house and a brewery. At the time, brewing was only one of the many activities that were carried out here. Over time, as successive generations took the helm, beer became the family's main activity. For nearly five centuries, the tradition of brewing has been passed down from father to son, and today the brewery is run by the 12th generation of the family.</p>
