Corsendonk N.V.

Dark, very strong Belgian ale with a mild flavor and balanced aroma. Corsendonk Pater Dubbel Ale has a dense dark brown color and a persistent beige foam cap. The brewery Corsendonk, founded by the daughter of John III in the monastery of Aud-Turnhout at the end of the 14th century, makes the drink. The production flourished for many centuries until it was destroyed during the French Revolution. Only a few centuries later the monastery, and with it the brewery, was fully restored. Today, Corsendonk products are known and loved both in Belgium and far beyond.

Flavor profile

The taste is mild, with a slight bitterness and dominant shades of coffee and caramel, which are complemented by nuances of bread toast and ripe fruit.
