<p>A strong dark beer, aged in the traditional Abbey dubel style. It has a beautiful purplish ruby color with a slight scarlet hue, and a soft unstable creamy foam. St.Bernardus Prior 8 is brewed according to the original recipe, which belongs to the Westvleteren order of Trappist monks. The drink was appreciated not only by beer lovers, but also by experts - in 2003 the beer received a silver medal at the prestigious World Beer Championship.</p> <p><strong>Flavor features</strong></p> <p>The taste is full-bodied and perfectly combines sweetness and bitterness. Notes of malt, brown sugar and black bread dominate, which are complemented by notes of cherries, currants and plums.
