Tilquin

A juicy plum lambic from Belgium. It has a beautiful, slightly hazy orange-amber color, rounded fruity taste and intense aroma. Produced by Gueuzerie Tilquin, which is the first gueuze blending factory in Wallonia. The Quetsche Tilquin a L'ancienne is a spontaneous fermentation beer made by fermenting seed-cleaned special purple plums and one-, two- and three-year-old lambics from Lindemans, Boon, Girardin and Cantillon.

Flavor profiles

The drink has a fresh, light and at the same time dense flavor, in which you can feel fruity acidity, a little spice and herbaceous notes. In the dry aftertaste there is also sourness, which is complemented by woody tartness. The aroma has notes of plum, citrus and green apple, as well as yeast and hay.

Gastronomic combinations

The beer can be served as an aperitif or digestif. It will also pair well with salads, appetizers, pastries and fruit.
