<p>Pear cider originating from Normandy, France. The producer is the family brewery Le Pere Jules with more than 100 years of history. To create the drink brewers use three varieties of pears at once, which are first stored in a ventilated room for two weeks, then pressed pneumatically for 2.5 hours. The juice is then fermented for two to three months in stainless steel tanks. After bottling, the beverage is placed in a century-old cellar for six weeks. In the bottle, the beer undergoes secondary fermentation. Pasteurization is not carried out.</p> <p><strong>Flavor characteristics</strong></p> <p>The drink has a pleasant, clean, slightly sweet flavor with notes of pear and white flowers and a fresh, dry aftertaste. The aroma is clean, with hints of pear and flowers. </p> <p><strong>Gastronomic combinations</strong></p> <p>Poire De Normandie is often served as an aperitif. It will also make an excellent pairing with pork and chicken dishes, Asian cuisine, seafood, fried chicken liver with pear and caramelized onions. You can also serve it with fruit tarts.</p>
