Bornem Double is brewed according to an ancient recipe under the control and consent of the Abbey of Saint Bernardus, located in Bornem. After bottling, the drink undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle, which makes its flavor and aroma even richer. Over the course of its existence, the variety has received numerous awards from experts - for example, it was voted the best Trappist ale at the California Microbrew Beer Festival.</p> <p><strong>Flavor features</strong></p> <p>The taste is velvety, full, juicy, with a bright malt sweetness and dominant tones of fruit. In the aftertaste there are notes of chocolate and spice, as well as neat nuances of hops.
