Excellent red ale with a bright flavor and rich aroma. It has a beautiful dark burgundy color and a low white foamy cap. It is made by spontaneous fermentation from natural ingredients - hops, barley malt, sugar and water, and then aged for a year and a half in large oak barrels. The specialty of Cuvee des Jacobins is its unique shelf life: if the necessary conditions are observed the beer can wait for up to 20 years and with the lapse of time its taste will only get better. The drink is named after Saint-Jacques Hospice in Paris, which hosted pilgrims in its walls in the Middle Ages. At the world beer championships Cuvee des Jacobins repeatedly won gold medals in its category.

Taste characteristics

The taste is rich, creamy, with dominant notes of cherry, red fruit, vanilla and cocoa, as well as yeasty hints.
