An exclusive brown ale with a special character. Produced in a limited edition. It has a beautiful dark brown color with an amber hue and a lush beige foamy cap. Monk's Cafe Grand Cru is made by blending a three-year old lambic and a young tripe. The blend is placed in oak barrels and left to mature for six months. Just before bottling, a special lager is added to the blend, which makes the taste of Monk's Cafe Grand Cru even more balanced.

Flavor profile

The taste is rich, full-bodied, with a characteristic acidity which harmoniously intertwines with slightly sweet nuances of malt, caramel, fruit and oak wood. In the aroma there are nuances of wine and notes of malt, fruit and balsamic vinegar.

Gastronomic combinations

Monk's Cafe Grand Cru goes well with meat dishes. In beer restaurants it is often served with game, beef and poultry dishes, as well as simple meat snacks.
