Van Honsebrouck

Strong Belgian tripel style ale. It has a pure yellow-gold color and lush foam. It is considered to be the "little brother" of Kasteel Donker, another famous creation of Van Honsebrouck brewery. Initially the drink was called "white", but later the company started brewing even lighter ales, so the title of Tripel was passed on to Kasteel Tripel. Noble hops and malt are used for making this drink, which makes its taste mild and aroma refined.

Flavor characteristics

The taste is rich, balanced, with bright tones of hops and fruit, as well as sweetish tones of malt. The aroma is malty, with hints of fruit and spice and light hints of banana and flowers.

Gastronomic combinations

Kasteel Tripel goes well with meat, sausages, asparagus, desserts, including banana, as well as spicy oriental dishes, which include cinnamon, ginger and chili peppers.
