Belgian Trappist La Trappe Dubbel

<p>A dark, unfiltered beer with a true Trappist character. La Trappe Dubbel has a beautiful brown ruby color and complex aroma with a lot of different nuances. It contains only high quality ingredients: pale and caramelized malt grown in Munich, aromatic German hops, the purest water from our own source and kandi sugar. After bottling, the beer is re-proofed in the bottle, which gives it a richer taste and aroma.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br /><strong>Flavor profile</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br />The taste is balanced, complex, smooth, with dominant notes of fruit (apple, banana, pear, raisin), nuances of spices (clove, cinnamon, pepper) and sweet tones of malt. In the aftertaste there is a slight bitterness of hops.
