Unfiltered amber colored beer with a rich, refreshing flavor. The highlight of this beer is the noticeable hop bitterness, much more pronounced than in other Trappist ales. After bottling, La Trappe Tripel undergoes a secondary bottle fermentation, which contributes to the appearance of a fine yeasty residue rich in various vitamins and minerals. The beverage is produced by a brewery under the French abbey Notre Dame de la Grand Trappe, which has a rich history of many centuries. At the same time the brand itself "La Trappe" was created only in the eighties of the last century - after a number of changes in production.

Flavor profile

The taste is rich, tart, smooth, with dominant notes of apricot, pear, peach and orange. They are complemented by bitter nuances of hops and spices, as well as bright bread nuances.

Gastronomic combinations

In bars and restaurants, La Trappe Tripel is usually recommended for Mediterranean dishes, as well as a variety of cheeses, pork and poultry.
