Belgian Trappist Zundert Trappist 10

<p>A strong and powerful Trappist quadrupel. It has a beautiful brown color with ruby highlights and a creamy foam cap. Zundert Trappist 10 is produced by the Maria Toevlucht monastery brewery in the small Dutch town of Zundert. The brewers use an old recipe to make the signature Quadruplet: they add hop cones and sprouted grains from the brewing monastery, as well as a special yeast culture. After bottling, the beer undergoes secondary fermentation, which makes its taste and aroma even richer.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br /><strong>Flavor characteristics</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br />The drink has a pleasant taste which has notes of malt, nuances of caramel, banana and chocolate. The aftertaste is long, with a pleasant bitterness.
